The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame is pleased to announce details of its next major event which will take place in Athens on the evening of Monday 27 April 2015 at the Hilton Athens.
The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner 2015 will be a gala dinner evening that will celebrate Greek shipping and pay tribute to historic personalities who have helped to shape the industry.
This prestigious event will include an exciting programme of content specially produced for the occasion, a highlight of which will be the unveiling of the latest Inductees to the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame. The 2014 Inductees will join the 20 ‘Greats’ already inducted into the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame.
The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame is delighted to announce that the Induction Ceremony & Dinner 2015 is being sponsored by a number of leading organisations and companies and additional supporters will shortly be announced.
Confirmed supporters include ABS and Clarksons as Co-Lead Sponsors of the Event.

The Induction Ceremony & Dinner at the emblematic Hilton Athens commences with a welcome Cocktail Reception which will provide a perfect setting for leading personalities in the shipping business to catch up with each other. The dinner-event will take place in the Terpsichore Ballroom which for more than half a century has hosted many of Greece’s most historic gatherings.
The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame’s Induction Ceremony & Dinner 2015 follows its highly successful Inauguration Ceremony and its London Event last year that established the Hall of Fame’s reputation for excellent events.
A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to a Greek children’s charity.
