Athens - 5 July 2022
The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner took place on the evening of Tuesday July 5, 2022, as an outdoor dinner event for 500 guests at Megaron, The Athens Concert Hall.
Greek Shipping’s most prestigious annual dinner celebrated the industry’s leadership, history, and culture during a unique evening featuring a bespoke programme which paid tribute to many of Greek shipping’s historic personalities, whose achievements and legacy have helped to shape this industry.
At the conclusion of this year’s ceremony, John A. Angelicoussis (1948-2021)
and Paul J. Ioannidis (1924-2021) were announced as the latest two Inductees in the Hall of Fame – the 2021 Inductees.
The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame event supported children’s charity Hellenic Hope with a donation.
