The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner 2026 took place on the evening of Monday 27 April at Megaron, The Athens Concert Hall.

Close to 600 guests from Greek shipping, including many leading names, and their international business partners, attended Greek shipping’s most prestigious annual dinner event.

The Induction Ceremony paid homage to the 80th anniversary of the Liberty Ships and the genesis of the modern Greek shipping industry. During the evening, a vintage oil painting of a Liberty Ship was presented to US Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle on behalf of the Greek shipping community.

The Induction Ceremony honoured the Greek shipping legends already inducted into the Hall of Fame and unveiled the two latest Greek shipping personalities to join them – the 2025 Inductees.

Greek children’s charity Hellenic Hope received a donation from the event proceeds.
