Αthens – 1 September 2021
The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame’s annual Induction Ceremony & Dinner will take place in Athens on Monday 13 September.
The Greek Shipping Hall of Fame dinner has established itself as one of the most prestigious and popular events in the maritime calendar. Paying tribute to Greek shipping and many of its historic personalities, the event traditionally includes the announcement of the latest Inductees, as elected by members of the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame Academy.
This year’s event will take place at Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall on the evening of Monday 13 September as an outdoor dinner event in front of a capacity audience of 300 guests in order to comply with current Covid-19 regulations.
‘We are delighted to be able to proceed with this year’s Induction Ceremony within the Megaron’s Atrium of the Muses which is perfectly suited for the Greek Shipping Hall of Fame’s first outdoor dinner event. Naturally, public health and safety remains our priority and the event will follow ‘best practices’ in this respect,” commented Caroline Lowry, director of Phoebe Media & Events, the exclusive organiser of the event.
“We look forward to welcoming our guests to share a unique programme, dinner and the unveiling of the 2020 Inductees.”
